2012 was a colourful year for fashion quite literally. Neon colours or “Stabilo” or highlighter colours were totally a trend. From clothes to nail polish to makeup – everything just shouts “NEON!” Seeing Nicki Minaj don such colours from hair to toe made her look like a walking reflector. Haha. Although it is already 2013, it seems like the neon trend ain’t going nowhere!
If you are a bit experimental but still not that confident enough to pull-off a loud-coloured outfit but still want to attract people’s attention, you can try putting on neon colours little by little. Baby steps as they say it. You can paint on your nails neon, for example. You can also wear neon accessories (like statement necklaces, bracelets, earrings, or belts) with a simple shirt-jeans outfit, and voila! Instant accent on your outfit.
